Annotated Bibliography of Indigenous Australian Alcohol and Other Drug Use

Overview

The database contains information on 300 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander projects being conducted throughout Australia.

The information is stored in 37 different data fields and includes project objectives, strategies, target groups, drug of focus, project types, settings, and contact details.

The database can be searched by browsing the project list, or by carrying out more complex searches using keywords. The Quick Search allows you to search the database using a selection of the most commonly searched keywords. The Keyword Search allows you to search the database using a full range of 180 keywords. The project information can be viewed in summary or detailed form, and can be printed out in four different report styles,  or saved as a HTML file which can later be opened in a word processor.

Each screen in the database contains a Help button. Clicking on this button will display on-line help for the screen you are currently using. Before searching the database for the first time, we recommend that you read the information contained in these screens. In particular, we recommend that you read about our Thesaurus for an explanation on how to best search for items using keywords.
